The Rohingya Return Organization (RRO) held its first strategic coordination meeting, bringing together 15 core members to discuss the ongoing Rohingya crisis and set out actionable strategies for an effective global advocacy campaign aimed at securing the safe and dignified repatriation of the Rohingya people to their homeland in Arakan (Rakhine), Myanmar.
The meeting was spearheaded by Mirza Mueen, Founder of Rohingya Return and a digital journalist and PR strategist based in the UK. Mirza presented a comprehensive plan outlining key advocacy strategies, including diplomatic engagement, media outreach, and grassroots mobilization. His direction emphasized coordinated international efforts to amplify the Rohingya voice and build sustained global pressure for justice and repatriation.
