The Rohingya Return Organization (RRO) convened its fourth coordination meeting on 5 October 2025, focusing on partnership development and strategic collaboration with other Rohingya-led initiatives.
The meeting was led by Mirza Mueen, Founder of RRO, and co-led by Mr. Ajas Khan, Co-Founder of RRO. It brought together nine representatives from key Rohingya organizations, including:
- Mr. Mohammed Omar, Founder, Rohingya Youths Network for Peace and Development (RYNPD)
- Mr. Mahamudur Rahman, Founder, Rohingya Inclusion Development Centre (RIDC)
- Mr. Kobir, Co-Founder, Rohingya Inclusion Development Centre (RIDC)
- Mr. Abu Mosa, Co-Founder, Rohingya Inclusion Development Centre (RIDC)
- Mr. Hamid Hossain, Founder, Rohingya Refugee Children Education Centre (RRCEC)
- Mr. Ro Habib Arakani, Founder, Rohingya Youths Right (RYR)
- Mr. Yeasor Arafat, Founder, Rohingya Youths Empowerment Network (RYEN)
- Mr. Mohammed Jubair, Co-Founder, Rohingya Green Nature Society (RGNS)
Meeting Agenda:
The central focus of the meeting was strengthening partnerships and coordination among Rohingya organizations working toward advocacy, peacebuilding, and repatriation efforts.
Highlights:
- Participants discussed opportunities for joint advocacy initiatives, data sharing, and coordinated communication strategies to enhance the collective impact of their efforts.
- All participating organizations officially agreed to become partners of RRO, formalizing collaboration to maximize advocacy effectiveness.
- The leaders emphasized the importance of building a unified voice for the Rohingya cause through collaboration and transparent partnership frameworks.
- Mr. Mueen highlighted the need for long-term cooperation and strategic alignment among organizations working toward Rohingya repatriation, rights, and dignity.
- Mr. Ajas Khan emphasized grassroots engagement and community-driven coordination to strengthen advocacy efforts from the ground up.
Outcome:
The participants agreed to develop a formal partnership framework outlining shared objectives, communication protocols, and project coordination mechanisms. This framework will guide long-term collaboration between the partner organizations, ensuring a united and sustainable approach to Rohingya advocacy and justice initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to collective leadership, transparency, and mutual support, reaffirming RRO’s dedication to uniting all stakeholders in the struggle for justice, dignity, and the safe return of the Rohingya people to their homeland.
